About the Role:

We are seeking an Area Manager to lead and develop a team of 8-10 Field Sales Agents, driving door-to-door sales in targeted neighborhoods for a leading meal-kit company. You’ll be contributing to revolutionizing the food supply chain with a customer-centric, data-driven approach, offering services across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.  Here’s where you come in…

  • Report to the Director of Client Services and create a motivating environment for your team to achieve and exceed sales KPIs
  • Train, mentor, and coach your team to consistently increase sales of meal kits and ready-to-eat meals
  • Develop and execute weekly team huddles to strategize innovative solutions, track goals, and provide insights on sales and marketing results
  • Monitor the performance of both high-performing and underperforming Ambassadors, guiding them toward success
  • Drive solutions that align with customers' lifestyles, ensuring a best-in-class customer service experience
  • Visit Ambassadors in the field regularly to build face-to-face relationships, provide coaching, and ensure compliance with company policies and best practices
  • Work closely with leadership to report on KPIs, track performance, and contribute to the development of strategic initiatives
  • Foster an open-door, collaborative culture to ensure transparent communication and alignment with organizational goals
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process for Ambassadors as outlined by Operations and Human Resources, ensuring a seamless transition and a positive team dynamic
  • Conduct yourself with optimism, empathy and integrity as the face of our client, HelloFresh

What you bring:

  • 2-3 years territory sales management experience
  • Firm understanding of the fundamentals of sales and customer service, recruitment, human resources, coaching, performance management, and state/local employment standards
  • Direct sales, multi-unit sales management, or subscription services sales a strong asset
  • Experience leading sales teams that specialize in penetrating residential markets is an asset
  • Ability to strategically recruit, select and hire motivated individuals as team leads and sales associates
  • Demonstrated ability to grow sales exponentially without compromising service or operation standards
  • Proven ability to manage fiscal budgets, forecast sales and retail metrics
  • Phenomenal communication and presentation skills
  • Expert in time management, evaluating priorities, and accomplishing goals
  • Motivated by rewards (Uncapped commission means unlimited earning potential!)
  • Ability to travel across your assigned area as required
  • Full-Time Availability including evenings and weekends as needed

 

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and reliable access to a personal vehicle
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time in all weather conditions

 

Compensation:

  • Base Salary + Monthly Incentives and Bonuses
